Design
Concept
This is one of the very few traditional block quilts I have made. It was made as a gift for my niece, Beth, and I gave her a choice of blocks from an encyclopedia of quilt blocks. She chose all eight pointed star designs. It is in a medallion format, with a central motif surrounded by successive borders. It is quilted simply in a large meander pattern with invisible thread. |
