                | Design 
                  Concept This is one of a series of   quilts in which three-dimensional, constructed tucks are incorporated  into a background fabric. The background and border fabrics were hand painted  with dye and the fabrics in the tucks were hand dyed in color gradations. The  use of graduated colors and values and the twisting of the tucks from one side  to the other creates the illusion of movement and light on the surface of the  quilt. Exhibitions:
