Design Concept
|
This quilt is one of a series of quilts incorporating elements
of my award-winning Migration #2 quilt. In this quilt flying
goose triangles made from hand dyed gradations are pieced
into a painted background fabric. The three appliqued black
birds are similar to birds in the Migration 2 Quilt. The
free-motion quilting was done with no marking of the quilt
top, using variegated top-stitching thread.
