                | Design Concept This quilt is one of a series of quilts based upon original 
                      drawings of fantasy feathers. In this case the original drawing was done with 
                      machine stitches and thread, as a sample for one of my machine quilting classes. 
                      I used my free hand free motion quilting design as the basis for this pieced 
                      design. In this quilt I have combined many fabrics dyed in color and value 
                gradations.  |
