Vancouver Island Adventure: June 26-July 3, 2018 |
On June 26 we left Port Townsend and took the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria, BC. After spending the night in Victoria, we drove to Port McNeill on the north end of Vancouver Island. We stayed at The Artists Point B&B, owned by professional photographer Rolf Hicker, with whom we booked our photo tours. On June 28 & 30, Rolf took us out in his boat for full days of wildlife photography (whales, dolphins, grizzly bears, black bears, seals, eagles, sea lions and more).
On June 29, Rolf took us to a cave carved out of the rock by a scenic river. On July 1 (Canada Day) we took a scenic drive, on our own, to Port Hardy, where the paved road ends, and where we took more scenic photos and enjoyed watching the Canadians celebrating their independence day. On July 2 we drove back to Victoria and on July 3 we took the afternoon ferry back to Port Angeles. Click any picture to see the whole SLIDE SHOW (16M may take a moment to load). |

To see other quilts in this style, click here. This is a complimentary pattern & digital workshop with full-color, step-by-step instructions. These instructions were originally written for use with hand dyed fabrics in 8 shade gradations. I later developed a workshop for use with my "Gradations" Collection from Benartex.
